Is it possible to operate charter buses early in the morning or late at night?

Yes, it is possible. However, depending on the schedule, two drivers may be required, or arrangements for rest facilities may need to be made. If you would like to use early morning or late-night services, please contact Oto kotsusha for consultation.

How far in advance should I make a reservation for a charter bus?

We kindly ask that you contact us to make a reservation 3 to 4 weeks before your intended travel date whenever possible. Reservations tend to be especially busy during the spring and autumn sightseeing seasons, weekends, and long holidays. We recommend making your reservation as early as possible once your schedule is confirmed. Please note that depending on the bus type, season, and timing of your request, it may not always be possible to provide a bus. However, if buses are available, reservations can still be made even the day before your trip.

Is it possible to change or decide the itinerary on the day of the trip? What should I do if I want to visit a place that wasn’t planned?

As a general rule, changes or decisions regarding the itinerary on the day of travel are not possible. Please inform of us in advance. If you really wish to visit a place that was not planned on the day, please consult with the driver. However, please note that depending on the circumstances, additional charges may apply.

What are the vehicle classifications for expressways?

On expressways, vehicle classifications are: large buses as Special Large Vehicles, medium buses as Large Vehicles, small buses, small microbuses, and microbuses as Medium Vehicles, minibuses (13 passengers) also as Medium Vehicles, and jumbo taxis (9 passengers or fewer) as Standard Vehicles.

Extra-Large Vehicle: 30 passengers or more, or total weight 8 tons or more, and length 9 meters or longer.
Large Vehicle: 29 passengers or fewer and length under 9 meters.
Medium Vehicle: 11–29 passengers and total weight under 8 tons.

Please note that expressway tolls vary depending on vehicle classification.
